Appearance:
Alliance: Dark (not by choice)
Personality: Though still kind and gentle, Aeris has become very cold and detached. She now fears becoming emotionally attached to anyone. She has also lost all regard for preserving her own life, wanting nothing more than to be destroyed.
History: Aeris’s story began with her as a simple flower girl living in Midgar. She spent much of her spare time in an abandon church in one of the slums. This however changed when she met Cloud and hired him as a bodyguard. After the two of them were chased out of the church by some of Shinra’s thugs, Aeris gradually became aware of Clouds other job with AVALANCE.
Aeris willingly became entangled in the conflict between Shinra and AVALANCE. Eventually after the discovery of Sephiroth’s intention of using the black materia to call Meteor, she was drawn to the City of the Ancients. She seperated from the group and headed to an altar underneath the city. Once there Aeris prayed and attempted to activate Holy. Shortly after her prayer succeeded Aeris was killed by Sephiroth. Her corpse was left in a lake near the altar.

After Vexzel’s release she was found by the vampire and re-animated by his necromancy. Rather than creating a mindless puppet Vexzel took Aeris’ soul from the lifestream; adding that to her re-animation produce a fully sentient zombie. Aeris is revived still retaining her previous memories, including her feelings for Cloud. Now she is forced to serve as Vexzel’s minion.
Other: In addition to the re-animation Vexzel innovated a restriction spell he could use to torture Aeris whenever she disobeys him. This is done by directly controlling the dark magicks that give Aeris unlife, and causing them to slowly destroy her body from the inside.
Aeris is also able to regenerate by feasting on the flesh of other creatures. Digesting this flesh adds energy to the dark magicks keeping her alive; this boost heals wounds and reverses her bodies’ decomposition. Because of this decomposition Aeris need to feed every few days to maintain her re-animated body.
Making use of the same dark magickal energies that re-animate her, Aeris is able to cast powerful dark magicks. Though she has completely lost the ability to use white magick.
Healing magicks now harms Aeris.
:It Begins: (( I'm well aware this is basically a 'to-be-sorted' thing for the main character, but I just couldn't resist. ))
You are walking in a forest and find a nearly dead deer. What will you do? – I will end its’ suffering quickly and devour its carcass.
You are trapped in a cave with your friends (if you have any) and are running extremely low on food. What do you do? – Give them my food and hope once time reveals what I am they will kill me.
Your best friend turns on you and is trying to kill you. What do you do? – I will fight back and try to incapasitate them.
You are new in town and a friendly face comes up and introduces themselves and offers to show you around. What do you do? – I’ll accept that offer, and introduce myself. Just because I am undead doesn’t mean I can’t socialize.
