(( Main Character ))
Name: Vexzel
Gender: Male
Age: Real age is unknown, he appears to be about 17
Species: Vampire
Hight: 5’11
Weight: 155
Appearance: A picture is worth a thousand words.
Alliance: Dark
Personality: The phrases “Evil Incarnate” “Destructive Psychopath”, and “Sadistic Monster” come to mind. These are very accurate. Vexzel cares only for his own personal gain, pleasure, and destroying anyone who gets in his way. Vexzel seems to be devoid of all emotion. Sometimes Vexzel can seem a bit insane.
History: Though no one can really confirm it, Vexzel was been alive sense before the conflict between the Cetera and Jenova. Though if any historical documents from this age existed they would prove Vexzel was one of the most destructive creatures of that age. In such history would well known that he despised the Cetera far more than any other creatures. Then again, he hated, and still hates almost anything pure or connected to the planet.
Of course Vexzel was also known for incredible power in black magic and near immortality. The only thing he truly feared was Holy. Though no record exists of Vexzel’s downfall it is widely believed that he was defeated when one of the Cetera invoked Holy. For a long time to come Vexzel remained sealed below the City of the Ancients.
Years later humans did Vexzel an unexpected favor; this favor was Shinra’s invention of Mako Reactors. As these reactors began absorbing the planet’s energy the seal holding Vexzel dormant began to weaken. With no Cetera to maintain the seal nothing but the lifestream kept Vexzel bound. As energy was sucked out and the planet grew weaker the seal began to weaken with the planet. Soon Vexzel reawakened.
When the conflict between Cloud’s group and Sephiroth reached its climax Vexzel finally began to stir. His immense dark power began to recuperate. The true key to his escape was when the planet used the Lifestream as a weapon in order to stop Meteor. Vexzel released the power he had recovered and shattered the seal. With that gone the ancient vampire escaped the City of the Ancients and simply seemed to vanish off the face of the Earth.
Vexzel has remained in hiding as his power slowly began to return. The vampire simply watched the chaos of the world from the shadows, biding his time for a while. Now his powers have almost reached the same peak as during the Cetera era. Vexzel now emerges from his shadows, eager to resume his dark designs.
Other: The full extent of his black magic powers is still unknown, though Vexzel believes it to very close to its natural limits. This includes elemental offensive spells, necromancy, and demon summoning. Vexzel has also innovated several spells for his own interests. For example he is able to use crystal balls much like spy cameras, and tear rifts between worlds.
Most attacks will have little to no effect on Vexzel. This is thanks to the fact that he is well, undead. Depending on if he has consumed blood recently Vexzel can regenerate most wounds. There are very few weapons that can actually leave lasting damage on Vexzel’s body, until you inflict enough damage to overpower his regeneration. This will break his regenerative ability and leave Vexzel vulnerable to conventional weaponry.
Vexzel always carries Malice and Hate, a pair of twin gunblades. These have the common revolver gun parts, and the blades were enchanted with darkness (malice) and fire (hate). These spells allow a blast of magic energy to strike along with the blades. To top it all off the spells Vexzel used to give the sword their power are rather hazardous. These spells will sense when someone else grabs the swords and attack the thief with their magic.
Vexzel can restore his magical power over time, but he can also
drain magic from materia.
:It Begins: The City of the Ancients started to rumble as Meteor and the Lifestream clashed in the sky above. This was just what the ancient vampire sealed away far below needed. As the planet diverted its energy to stop Meteor the supporting energies of the seal keeping his underground prison together quickly weakened. Seizing this opportunity, Vexzel released his remaining magical power into a single casting of flare.
The explosive blast of fire ripped its way through the top of the sealed underground cavern, and blasted out like a volcano into the city above. The entire seal shattered like glass against that unrestrained attack. Yet there was no severe damage up above, just a relatively small crater where the spell emerged. A few minutes later the vampire climbed out of this crater into the now abandon city. Thanks to another bit of his magic his robes had remained intact; it simply wouldn’t do to climb from that prison in nothing but rotting rags. Expecting an attack Vexzel looked around to see the city looked more like a ruin than anything.
Seeing the corpse of this once prosperous city, and detecting the sweet smell of decay Vexzel burst into laughter. It was satisfying to know he had outlasted those accursed Cetera. However, because he realized just how dire his situation was Vexzel’s laughter was short lived. Quickly and stealthily, Vexzel darted into the nearest building. He immediately began tearing the place apart; searching for anything he could use to make a weapon. To ensure his survival, Vexzel needed a way to defend himself. Without any materia to drain magic from Vexzel couldn’t rely on spellcasting for a while. After going through several of the ruined buildings Vexzel had gathered a sizable amount of scrap metal.
Vexzel fell into a sitting position near the crater he made and began examinging the metal scraps. After picking out what pieces of metal would make a satisfactory weapon, and throwing the others away Vexzel began distributing the pieces between the various pockets of his robe. Moments later he darted out of the city looking for his next task, a place to hide. While he detested the thought of simply hiding, Vexzel had no other choice. Without being able to feed or drain magic for countless years he would be in a severely weakened state. To regain the power he had lost, Vexzel would remain in hiding for now.
You are walking in a forest and find a nearly dead deer. What will you do? - I’ll kick the worthless thing out of my way and keep going. Killing isn’t any fun if the worthless creature is half way dead to begin with.
You are trapped in a cave with your friends (if you have any) and are running extremely low on food. What do you do? - If it has been long enough I’ll forgot the friend facade and devour whichever one them I hate most. Then it won’t be long until I pick off the others.
Your best friend turns on you and is trying to kill you. What do you do? - I will teach this fool true fear before I destroy him.
You are new in town and a friendly face comes up and introduces themselves and offers to show you around. What do you do? - I’ll probably except the offer, who knows I might find out where one of my enemies lives.
